Columbian Park is a 40-acre recreation area with a diverse array of attractions ranging from the Columbian Park Zoo to the baseball field Loeb Stadium, to a small five-ride amusement park. The Memorial Island monument pays tribute to local military heroes, while SIA Playground is a wonderful child oriented area built in 1999. The park is located in downtown Lafayette, just south of Murdock Park.
