A fixture of the Columbian Park recreation area, the Columbian Park Zoo boasts more than 120 animals culled from nearly 50 different species. Animals at the zoo feature a mix of local and exotics, including pumas, chinchillas, black-tailed prairie dogs, monkeys, cougars and many more. The zoo lies on the northern tip of the park, just a few blocks south of Murdock Park.
